RiverRidge operates Northern Ireland’s most integrated waste management company. Initially acquired in 2011, the company has undergone substantial investment over the past number of years which has transformed it from a small skip hire and landfill business to the fully integrated waste recovery operation it is today. Although originally a landfill business, the new owners recognised the environmental importance of landfill diversion to the community in which they operate. Today the company is able to divert significant tonnages away from landfill through a variety of customer focused diversion solutions. The company’s commitment to landfill diversion is supported by its multi-site leading edge mechanical treatment infrastructure as well as its Belfast located Waste-to-energy facility.
