Would you like to work for the NI Housing Executive?
Brian registered with Riada on 23rd March 2021, expressing his interest in working for NI Housing Executive, the leading public housing authority for Northern Ireland. He had previous trades, labouring and grounds maintenance experience having worked in a number of warehouse and manufacturing environments previously.
Riada recruitment specialist Mairead took the time to speak with him, discussed his experience and ambitions for the future in order to determine what role would be the best fit for Brian and his skillset. He was very experienced in the use of all types of plant and machinery, including tractors, dumpers, rollers, petrol saws and cutting equipment and mowers and had valid 360 degree digger licence and telehandler qualifications. On this basis, both Mairead and Brian believed a grounds maintenance position would suit him well.
Within 7 days of registering with Riada, Brian had successfully completed the interview process and was offered a full time contract as a Grounds Maintenance Worker based in L/Derry. As a keen outdoorsman, spending much of his spare time fishing , cycling and following sports in general, the work life balance NI Housing Executive offered, including a Monday to Friday working week and day time hours, were ideal for him.
