Gerard registered with Riada on 15th January 2021, expressing his interest in growing his IT career and developing his skills. He had strong managerial experience , specifically within IT & technology support and wanted a role that would offer him the scope he was after in terms of working closer to home, autonomy and freedom to implement and really drive technological changes in a business setting.
Riada recruitment specialist Luke took the time to speak with him, discussed his experience and ambitions for the future in order to determine what role would be the best fit for Gerard and his skillset. He was very experienced in the use of all languages like SQL, configuring networks and leading a team to configure and monitor applications. On this basis, both Luke and Gerard believed a position within IT Management would suit him well.
Within 8 days of registering with Riada, Gerard had successfully completed his first and second interviews, and was offered a full time, permanent opportunity as a Cloud Support Manager based in L/Derry.
