Riada have formed a great relationship with Colin which reaches back as far as 2008. Colin was searching for jobs within the industrial and engineering sectors in Northern Ireland and got in touch with us to help him in his search. Whilst applying for roles such as an industrial saw operator, our consultants were able to identify Colin's strengths and key skills, seeing that he would be better suited to a welder job. This job was initially for only 4 weeks however resulted in a permanent position.
Five years later, Colin was on the job search again and with Riada's help he was placed in another temporary role for the past 6 months and we are delighted to say that he has now been offered a permanent position again this time with Metallix (part of the Wright Group) as a welder.
All his hard work and dedication has paid off and the Riada team are proud they were able to help him achieve this success.
"First of all a bit about myself, my name is Colin and I'm a welder and I've been employed with Riada for the past 6 months. This is now coming to an end as I've been offered a full time, permanent contract with Metallix who I've been working for through Riada. I had absolutely no hesitation contacting Riada for work as I had previously worked through them back in 2012, which also led to a positive outcome when I was offered a permanent contract with Metallix again actually, lasting over 5 years.
My experience with Riada has been excellent... the team are on hand at any time for advice and any queries you may have. I had a couple of personal problems during the past 6 months and their help and understanding was second to none, which I am very grateful for.
When they hear "recruitment agency" people assume that it's not a safe or secure job, but that's not the case with Riada.
Speaking from my own experience and other Riada workers I have come into contact with , if you work hard, keep your attendance and timekeeping good, you will have a job, it's as simple as that. I've used Riada twice and both times it's led to full-time permanent employment. And now I'm starting my new role with Metallix which I'm very happy about.
